When Peter asked a seemingly innocent question about the will of Jesus for John, the Lord rebuked His intrusive disciple with an answer that checked his attitude. Jesus told the mentoring leader to mind his own spiritual business! He commanded Peter to get out of John’s sacred space and “Follow Me!” Follow Jesus and MYOSB! is based on the story of Jesus’ conversation with Peter in John 21:18-24. John, the young silent listener, overheard their words and received his own message from the Lord. Jesus had unique plans for both Peter and John. He also has a special purpose for each believer. As a disciple of Christ, it’s important to hear and follow Jesus, prioritize your own spiritual nurture and work, and keep out of God’s sacred business with others.
